1) I will provide a quotation on request, outlining work to be undertaken, likelihood of success and suggestions for further research.
2) In the vast majority of cases records will be successfully traced. In areas where only partial records exist and success cannot be guaranteed (e.g., First World War service records) you will be notified of this on the quotation.
3) The fee quoted is a search fee and is still payable in cases where records cannot be traced.
4) Records will be supplied as digital photographs, but where this is not possible paper copies will be provided at 30p per sheet. Paper copies can also be provided where preferred.
5) Digital photos can be sent via email, ftp, or uploaded on to my own webspace for later download and will be left there so long as space permits. These pages should be regarded as temporary and may be removed without notice. Records can also be sent on CD. CD and Paper records are sent by Royal Mail where a fee may be charged to cover p&p.
6) I do not charge for travel or expenses as I only undertake research at London Archives
7) Customers will be invoiced on completion of research.
